Cars and Trucks are recurring enemies in the Frogger series. They are varied types of vehicles that compose the traffic found in the street and highway sections of a game.

Description[]

Varied types of vehicles that run at different speeds and which generally appear in the recurring street and highway sections that often appear in Frogger games. In most games, they are composed of normal cars, racing cars, bulldozers, and trailers, and rarely of forklifts.

Cars can come individually or in groups of up to three. In addition, there are also trucks that due to their length cover more area. The player has to dodge these speeding vehicles while trying to cross the street. As the game progresses, the cars of some lanes will start running at higher speeds, while others may remain the same. Also, their configurations may start to vary, with groups of cars driving more spaced between each other to cover more area.

Cars were the very first enemies that appeared in the Frogger series.
In the opening cutscene of Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge, the title antagonist Swampy hops in a truck and tries to run over Frogger in revenge from when the latter used him as a stepping platform in the original Frogger (and its 1997 remake).
