Don't Stop the Hop! is a boss stage in Frogger: Helmet Chaos. It is directly after both versions of Shady Orchard B and can be encountered as early as the 7th stage of the Beach path. The boss of this stage is colloquially known as the Hammerbot.
Boss Fight & Attacks[]
Unlike the other boss fights in the game, Hammerbot is an endurance rush. As long as Frogger survives until the end, the Hammerbot with break down on its own. The Hammerbot has 3 attacks: shooting oil at Frogger's current location, shooting a plasma ball at Frogger's current location, or attempting to hit Frogger with its hammer if he gets too close.
Oil Shot- The oil shots will stick to the tile Frogger was on when it was initally shot. It will linger for a short time before disappearing. If Frogger stays in place or hops over the tile the oil is on, he will get stuck and will have to try to move three times before being freed from it.
Plasma Shot- Like the oil shots, the plasma shots will aim for the tile Frogger was on when it is fired. It is a slow moving projectile with a deceptively large hitbox that should be avoided. Simply hop away and either up or down from it and it shouldn't cause any real issues. It can force you to get close to Hammerbot, which can cause it to use its hammer.
Hammer Slam- If Frogger gets too close to Hammerbot, it will slam its hammer into the ground to try and hit him. Whether it misses or not, it will cause squirrels to fall from above the screen and run horizontally after recovering from the fall. The squirrels are the most dangerous part of this boss fight as they can cover a large part of the available stage and make it that much harder to avoid a second attack from the Hammerbot. These squirrels have two unique interactions with Hammerbot. If one falls on top of it, it will hit the pilot and stop it from moving for a decently long amount of time. If the squirrels run into the Hammerbot (or the other way around), they will be sent flying quickly in the other direction. The squirrels do no damage to Frogger in this state, however.
There is no real strategy for this fight aside from avoiding getting close to Hammerbot and dodging oil splotches and plasma shots. Keeping distance while circling around Hammerbot can stall it from hammering, but you most likely will have to survive a hammer or the squirrels it makes fall at least once. Get to the end, and the Hammerbot will break down.

Trivia[]
- The animal piloting the Hammerbot bears a striking resemblance to the weasel in the stage Weasel Weight for Me.
