• Lost Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey is partly similar to this world. Both islands have a rain forest theme and they share the same name, though the island in question is identified as, "Forgotten Isle". This is most likely a coincidence.
  • Fossil Falls, a location in the Cascade Kingdom, however, bears a greater resemblance to Forgotten Island due to its prehistoric/Jurassic Period theme, the abundance of fossils seen throughout that environment, and the inclusion of a T-Rex as an obstacle.
