Frogger: The Board Game is a tabletop board game published by Ultra PRO Entertainment under license of Konami, released in December 2021. It is based on the video game of the same name. The game was designed by Lars Wagner Hansen.
Gameplay[]
Frogger: The Board Game is a reimagining in physical form of the original 1981 arcade game Frogger by Konami. Up to four players can compete, each with their uniquely colored frog: red, blue, yellow, and green. The objective of the game is to help the player's frog to safely make it across a busy highway and a river full of predators, while attempting to catch as many flies as possible along the way - all this while also trying to prevent the opponents' frogs from achieving the same goal. Obstacles include running vehicles in the highway section, and hungry crocodiles and other predators in the river section.
The game is played over four rounds –two on the highway and two on the river– to make two complete trips across the board. After the fourth round is completed, the player who has the most points wins.
A normal play session takes about 30 minutes. The game is suggested for ages 8 and up.
