Appearances[]

Frogger: The Great Quest[]

Despite his minor appearance, only being introduced near the end of the game, the Magical General of Light and Industry is responsible for all the events of the game. He may or may not have been responsible for the disappearance of the King and Queen, but instantly took the chance to use the Goblins' jealously of the kingdom's freedom to wage war on it. With the aid of the magical sword Grim Bite, he captures Princess Joy and plots to use her to become king. During the course his campaign, he also captures the Fairy Frog Mother and keeps both prisoners captive at the top of the tallest tower of Joy Castle.

When Frogger finally makes it to the top of the tower, he initially finds himself in a most disadvantageous position, but following the Fairy Frog Mother's advice, he takes out the still shrunk Bone Cruncher from his bag and the Fairy Frog makes him to regain his normal size, scaring away the General's two personal guards. Frogger then gains possession of Grim Bite and manages to resist the Magical General's attempt to repossess it, and with the magical sword he finally defeats him, who seeing himself cornered, vows to return one day and then jumps out of the window like his two minions did moments before.

He reappears in a small post-credits cutscene teasing the direct sequel to Frogger: The Great Quest, but which never came to be.
